4. Power of attorney
In case that the foreigner applicant appoints an agent in Thailand, power of attorney shall be notarized by a notary public or legalized by the Royal Thai Embassy or Consular in such country.
 In case of filing the first corresponding application outside the kingdom , the patent application of design in Thailand shall be filed within 6 months since the date of filing the said patent application overseas for the first time, in case of members of WTO. In addition, there is no time constraint for the patent application of design. However, the certified documents shall be submited before the publication date
All documents in foreign language must be translated in Thai language.
